Greetings from The Head of School.

My name is Nick Burns, and I am the Head of School at Hope Christian Academy.  I would like to personally thank you for your interest and consideration of HCA.  When discussing the vision, God always reminds me of a Scripture from the Book of Jeremiah.  In Jeremiah 29:11, God’s Word says:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This scripture radiates thoroughly throughout the vision of Hope Christian Academy.  As God led our leadership team into this season of our lives, we couldn’t help but to discuss how God’s individual plans for us brought us here.  We all have a passion, first for Christ, but also for children in the educational realm.  Through many prayers and work sessions, the Vision came alive.

At Hope Christian Academy, our goal is to promote a “Culture of Christ.” Throughout the life of Jesus, we recognize His model of Servant Leadership.  Our paradigm is that every student understands their identity in Christ, and learn to lead with a positive, servant’s heart.  We want to promote the “whole student.”  By saying that, our heart’s desire is that each student grow Spiritually, Mentally, Physically, and Emotionally throughout their time at HCA.  One of our main missions is that every child learns to “Foster the Gifts” God has blessed them with.  We understand that every child is unique, and we are “God’s Workmanship.”  The Bible calls us “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.”  Our goal is that each student learns to live in the identity that God has given them, and to live that life confidently.

As we embark on this journey, it is our prayer that everyone involved at Hope Christian Academy, in every aspect of this ministry live by the Passage of Scripture in Colossians Chapter 3.

23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

We are very grateful for this opportunity God has blessed us with and look forward to the amazing things God has in store at Hope Christian Academy.

Go Saints!
